- No install, all config files local to the exe! Raytrace settings in raytrace.mode file, delete to reset RT to defaults, in case you set the setting too high and can't work the menu :)

- NEW! NID3 (NotSID V3) Retro-style sound synth as audio engine! All sounds procedurally generated! (NID3 Is my personal synth I made in the early 2000's for music production, but I managed to cut it back enough to work as a cool audio backend for Voxelumality, basically giving it C64/Amiga style sound. Most of the porting was done, I used it as a sound backend for a few unreleased game projects of mine, but those were python, this is c++! :)
- Improved water! Refractive (simple) RT water, surface shader for raster!
- FIXED RT/FSR! Actually fully working, fixed the last "magic number" hack for speed. GI about 1/2 speed, but actually does up to 8 real bounces. Sky now illuminates geometry, no more void black shadows!

- Voxelception! Chunks are also voxels! Effectively infinite view distance in raster mode! (Distant chunks are rendered as individual voxels, giving a convincing distant horizon.

- Custom written pure c++/GLSL 2 step realtime ray tracer with accumulator! Move fast with accurate lighting, stop to smell the light propagation! (
Ray Tracer is tuned for the backrooms, for better visuals above ground, switch from "gamma" to "raw" in RT settings.Hybrid is now perfect for surface with gamma, raw has been removed. Full RT still has 64 block range, and is best for cave spelunking or the backrooms levels) - Full RT mode with GI disabled and 2 bounces is only slightly slower at 50%+FSR than raster! (On my hardware lol)
- Every single ray trace engine variable is there to tweak! Ray denoisers, temporal caching (looks worse, runs faster!) SR, internal ray scale (Render ray buffer at 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%! With FSR on, 100% becomes 125% super sample, all other res scale to current render resolution!), GI Light culling, light activation distances, minimum number of GI lights, and more!
- Ray Trace reflections are not set up! Procedurally generated voxels don't have full normals yet (working on t) or reflectivity flags, so, EVERYTHING is a mirror! Use reflection setting with caution!
- Fixed 1600x900 windowed mode, Fullscreen and resolution selection to be added in a future update! Plans to support vga widescreen (800x480) up to 4k!
- AMD FSR-2.2.1 Implemented, Thanks to JuanDiegoMontoya's FSR2 OpenGL Fork! (Exe was only 500kb, 2 mb of the binary is JUST FSR!!!) Exclusively on ray traced paths (raster lacks the required buffers, and is 144fps on my 10th gen i5 and 1650 gpu, so FSR wouldn't do much there!)

Gameplay instructions:
Game automatically starts in a New Normal world, and auto loads your saved world on launch (Will implement start menu, someday!) There is also a "janky world" setting, this was my first (failed) attempt at worldgen, but it can spawn some truly stunning things, so its kept as a world type. Jankyness effects all generation, even backrooms...
Blocks are saved as you make them, and I haven't optimized the save format yet, so watch the disk use! Block edits are saved immediately, and worse case in crashes is single chunk corruption, which will simply force a re-gen. No losing 5 minutes of building! (Haven't noticed crashes myself, but I am one man with 4 computers, a statistically significant sample size I am not.)
WASD standard movement. Space to jump/Fly up, Shift to fly down (No crouch yet!) Press f5 to toggle flight and walk mode.
In flight mode, you can clip through the roof or ground, so you can visit the backrooms right away in this build! (No-Clip fly will be removed in a future update!)
Esc to bring up menu.
